The vast majority of our beers have a shelf life of six months from the day the beer is bottled, canned, or kegged. The packaging date (PKG), shelf life, and batch information (PRN) can be found on all our packaging.
Some of our stouts are more robust and can withstand storage periods of about a year, provided that they are kept in a cool and dark space. Refrigeration isn't completely necessary for any of our beers, but the key is always to avoid heat and light. Our double IPAs have a 3-month shelf life.
Hopslam along with all of our double IPAs is best enjoyed as fresh as possible.
We also make several beers that are specifically brewed to develop and mature over the course of several years. These include Expedition Stout and Third Coast Old Ale, as well as certain special releases, and are ideal for long-term cellaring.

1/2 & 1/4 Barrel Kegs:
The shelf life and packaging date are printed on the keg collar and on the upper sidewall of the kegs.
Cardboard Carriers:
6 packs:
It is printed on one of the short edges of the top side (the side with perforated holes to carry the 6 pack).
4 Packs (16oz cans):
It will be printed on one of the top flaps.
12 Packs:
It will be located halfway down the left of one of the large sides of the carrier.
Case (24 bottles):
It is located on either the front or back of the case toward the bottom.
